Monster Jam Tampa Recap, January 17, 2015 ~ NEXT SHOW FEB 6th

By Catherine Fialla, Macaroni Kid Brandon Publisher February 6, 2016
With three boys, Monster Jam has become an annual family favorite. We were so excited to be invited back to check out this year's Monster Jam show!

The Party in the Pits is a MUST! This is your chance to get up close and personal with monster truck drivers AND their trucks.

The atmosphere is great! It's fun checking out all the vehicles before we get to watch them perform in the show!

Check it out!

After the Pit Party there is about a two-hour window. This is a great time to do a little tailgating and relax before the show. We had a little picnic and played some football in the parking lot.

Finally it was showtime! The trucks roared into the arena accompanied by fireworks. Talk about a grand entrance.

First up were the races. Our seats had a perfect view of the starting line!

Next was an awesome "donut" competition, won by my favorite, the female driven, El Toro Loco! Following that was the freestyle event. I think the fans enjoy the crashes are almost as much more than the jumps!

See the highlights for yourself! You wont believe the awesomeness at the 0.43 second mark and I won't spoil the ending for you, but the fans went wild :)

My family had a great time as always at Monster Jam and we look forward to next year's event. You don't have to wait that long, though: Monster Jam is back in Tampa for a SECOND SHOW on February 6th!

I received complimentary tickets for the purpose of this review.  All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
